10" Magnetic Backing Plates for Diamond Flat Lap and Disc

The magnetic backing plated system is an incredibly convenient and efficient method for switching between different grits during the grinding and polishing process. The magnetic base plate remains securely in place, while the support plates can be quickly and easily swapped out. This system is compatible with iron or steel support plates, but it should not be used with aluminum support laps or plates. It is important to note that if an adhesive sticker is used with an aluminum or other non-ferrous backing plate, it will permanently adhere to the plate. Additionally, if a metal or iron master lap is being used, a non-adhesive style may be preferred, as the magnet will still hold the plate firmly in place. With this magnetic backing plated system, changing grits has never been easier or more efficient.

(1) If aluminum or other Non-Ferris Backing Plate the adhesive sticker will permanently adhere to your Plate.
(2) If metal or iron master lap the non adhesive style is may be used.. The magnet will do its job holding firmly in place.
